In april 2024 keert Rewire, het toonaangevende festival voor avontuurlijke muziek, terug op verschillende culturele hotspots in de Haagse binnenstad.

Terugkerend onderdeel van het festival is de tentoonstelling Proximity Music. Een samenwerking tussen het Haagse collectief iii en Rewire. De tentoonstelling zoekt naar manieren om muziek, architectuur, technologie, ritueel en spel met elkaar te verbinden door middel van ruimtelijke ervaringen die alle zintuigen prikkelen.

De tentoonstelling is gratis toegankelijk en doorlopend te bezoeken. In Zaal 2 kun je vrij in- en uitlopen tussen 12:00 en 20:00 uur.

Tijdens Rewire 2024 zullen negen nieuwe en speciaal voor het festival gemaakte werken, van zowel gevestigde als opkomende kunstenaars, uiteenlopende plekken in het centrum van Den Haag innemen. Waaronder de kleine zaal van Theater aan het Spui!

For its 13th edition happening in April 2024, Rewire will return to the city
centre of The Hague to present forward-thinking and genre-crossing music that’s
brimming with exploratory spirit.

A recurring element of the festival is the exhibition Proximity Music. A joint programme by The Hague based collective iii and Rewire, which seeks to connect music, architecture, technology, ritual, and play through spatial experiences engaging with all the senses.

The exhibition is free of charge and can be visited throughout the day. You can walk in and out of Zaal 2 (Hall 2) freely.

During Rewire 2024, nine newly commissioned and adapted artworks by emerging and established artists will inhabit various locations across the centre of The Hague, including the small stage of Theater aan het Spui.
