Proximity Music: States of Fragility - iii
Proximity Music is een tentoontellingsprogramma tussen het Haagse collectief iii en Rewire, geïnitieerd tijdens de editie van 2021. De tentoonstelling zoekt naar manieren om muziek, architectuur, technologie, ritueel en spel met elkaar te verbinden door middel van ruimtelijke ervaringen die alle zintuigen prikkelen.
Tijdens Rewire 2024 zullen negen nieuwe en speciaal voor het festival gemaakte werken, van zowel gevestigde als opkomende kunstenaars, uiteenlopende plekken in het centrum van Den Haag innemen. Waaronder de kleine zaal van Theater aan het Spui.
De tentoonstelling is gratis toegankelijk en doorlopend te bezoeken, in Zaal 2 kun je vrij in- en uitlopen.
Rewire is uitgegroeid tot een van de meest toonaangevende festivals als het gaat om vooruitstrevende muziek, waarin bruggen geslagen worden tussen, ja, tussen wat eigenlijk niet.

In English
Among the highlights of the festival is a special focus programme around composer and sound artist Annea Lockwood, and premieres by Gazelle Twin. Both will be on show in our theatres.

Proximity Music: States of Fragility - iii
Proximity Music is a joint exhibition programme initiated in 2021 by The Hague based artist collective iii and Rewire, which seeks to connect music, architecture, technology, ritual, and play through spatial experiences engaging with all the senses.
During Rewire 2024, nine newly commissioned and adapted artworks by emerging and established artists will inhabit various locations across the centre of The Hague, including the small stage of Theater aan het Spui.
The exhibition is free of charge and can be visited throughout the day. You can walk in and out of Zaal 2 (Stage 2) freely.
