In English
ATMEN is the second performance of the trilogy RITUALS OF TRANSFORMATION in which Beutler goes in the search for a new balance between man, animal, plant, fungus and technology. In the first part 'GINKGO or: 56 million years ago there were palm trees on the North Pole' we say goodbye to the man-made world.
ATMEN is an experiment in speculative fiction. The journey continues here. Through cycles and cycles, everything is constantly transforming. What crumbles, what remains and what grows on top? This part of the trilogy uses the theatre as an overgrown ruin in which bacteria, fungi, flora and fauna find fertile soil. It is a living space in which a collective transformation takes place. Together with hybrid creatures, the audience will become part of this ecosystem.
