Yet for many people, visiting this place is far from obvious. We want people with disabilities to be able to enjoy this place. We want to find each other here when the street makes that impossible. We want this place to be full of schoolchildren. We want to give emerging theatre makers a place to experiment and take flight. What are you contributing to?
We make and present beautiful theatre productions for all ages: from cabaret to drama, from dance to theatre lectures. But we are ambitious: we want more than beautiful productions. Our goal is to reach and welcome as many people as possible. And what do we find? We are able to do more and more, and it is working. This requires more than just the fixed subsidies from central or local government.
Together we ensure that people with disabilities can enjoy theatre. Together we bring people together for celebrations and commemorations. Together we help schoolchildren make sense of their world. Together we develop new talent. With your support, you pass theatre on.

ANBI status
Het Nationale Theater holds cultural ANBI status (a Dutch public benefit organisation). Donors to cultural ANBIs benefit from an additional tax deduction. Private individuals may multiply a donation to a cultural ANBI by 1.25 in their income tax return and deduct it as a gift. Companies subject to corporation tax may deduct 1.5 times the amount of such a donation in their corporation tax return.
