Shailesh Bahoran en IRC
Shailesh Bahoran is een Surinaams-Hindoestaanse choreograaf, danser en theatermaker. Met stevige roots in de hiphopcultuur heeft hij zich zowel solo als met zijn IRC gespecialiseerd in de op straat ontstane dansstijlen popping en breaking. Bahoran heeft o.a. gewerkt met Het Nationale Ballet, Don’t Hit Mama, Het Nederlands Symfonieorkest, Conny Janssen Danst en ISH Dance Collective.
De Zwaan voor ‘Meest indrukwekkende dansproductie’ werd toegekend aan Shailesh Bahoran voor zijn voorstelling AVATARA gemaakt met de Duda Paiva Company.
Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest
Het Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest (AAO) treedt op van Granada tot en met Bagdad en heeft meerdere succesvolle theaterproducties op zijn naam staan, waaronder REMLA, ZIEL|ROUH en Jihad van Liefde.
ICK-ensemble
ICK Dans Amsterdam is inmiddels stadsdansgezelschap van Amsterdam en tekende afgelopen jaren voor diverse nationale en internationale coproducties.

About the Creators
Shailesh Bahoran and IRC
Shailesh Bahoran is a Surinamese-Hindustani choreographer, dancer, and theater maker. With strong roots in hip-hop culture, he has specialized both solo and with his IRC in street dance styles such as popping and breaking. Bahoran has worked with The Dutch National Ballet, Don’t Hit Mama, The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, Conny Janssen Dances, and ISH Dance Collective, among others.
De Zwaan for 'Most Impressive Dance Production' was awarded to Shailesh Bahoran for his performance AVATARA, created with the Duda Paiva Company.

The Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra (AAO) performs from Granada to Baghdad and has numerous successful theater productions to its name, including REMLA, ZIEL|ROUH, and Jihad of Love.
