On Saturday 12 September, Matt Haig takes the stage at BorderKitchen to discuss his new novel The Midnight Train. The British author, world-famous for the international bestseller The Midnight Library, talks about his latest book and the ideas behind it.

In The Midnight Train, protagonist Wilbur gets the chance to travel back to defining moments in his life. Along the way, he returns to Venice, to Maggie, and to a love he once lost. As he digs deeper into the past, he discovers that rewriting earlier choices doesn't come without consequences.

Haig writes novels, children's books, non-fiction and film scripts. His work has been published in more than fifty countries. The Midnight Library has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
