Choose your own route

During Friday Night Unlimited, you can choose your own route from some twenty programmes on five stages in Theater aan het Spui and Filmhuis Den Haag. Each programme lasts about 20 to 60 minutes. Drinks are available in the foyers and bookshop De Vries Van Stockum sells books and poetry collections by the performing authors.

Conversations are in English or Dutch. We ask authors to recite in the language in which their book or poem was written. In the Theater aan het Spui auditoriums, English and Dutch translations of the readings can be followed simultaneously via projections.

In mid-2026, Writers Unlimited will announce the first names of authors who will perform. The complete festival programme with all performances and timetables will be available at writersunlimited.nl from the beginning of December.

Early Bird ticket sales

Earli Bird Ticket sales for the programs Friday– and Saturday Night Unlimited will start Sunday 17 May. Early Bird tickets will be on sale for only €25. From 27 December, the regular price will be €35. Young visitors under 30 always receive a discount and merely need to pay €15.

Combo discounts

New this edition are various combo discounts. Receive a 10% discount (even on top of the Early Bird price) when buying a ticket for both Friday– and Saturday Night Unlimited together. Or bring someone along to a program of choice and receive 10% discount on the second ticket! These discounts will be applied automatically during your order.
