HNTonbeperkt makes theatre accessible

We are making our performances accessible to more and more people, with sign language and speech-to-text interpreters, audio description, meet & feels, and smart glasses, among other things. It's important to us that everyone can see, hear, or feel what Het Nationale Theater has to offer. Everyone! You can support us and help contribute to HNTonbeperkt.

Performances with auditory aids

Below you'll find an overview of performances where we offer auditory support. This is useful if you don't hear (or don't hear everything) that is said during the performance.

Visual aids

Below you'll find an overview of all performances where we offer visual support. Think of audio description, where an interpreter describes the visually significant elements of the performance. An audio introduction helps you prepare for the performance from home.

Performances with a sensory guide

For the performances in this agenda, a sensory guide is available. In it, you'll find the exact moments in the performance that may be experienced as sensory-intense. Handy to help you prepare.

There's more possible than you think

We're happy to think along with you about how we can make theatre accessible for you! You don't have to be limited by our own programme. Choose freely from the full range of Het Nationale Theater's offerings, and talk to us about how you can experience that wonderful performance. For example, by bringing your own speech-to-text interpreter, having access to a quiet room, not having to stand in line for too long, or bringing your assistance dog. Let us know, we're happy to think along with you! And... there's more possible than you think.
