Two figures question each other about the many kinds of pain and uncertainty one can experience. Are we witness to an artistic aftertalk? An interview? A therapy session?

In injuries & remedies, performers and theatre makers Simon Baetens and Micha Goldberg attempt to advise, confront, mirror and console one another. What unfolds is a continuously transforming conversation, driven by one persistent impulse: the urge to keep questioning the other, fuelled by the belief that our inner emotional landscape reveals something about who we “really” are.

The performance injuries & remedies moves between biography and fiction, between biting humour and sincere expressions. What do we truly want to know about each other? Simon and Micha guide you through their internal dialogues, which are given a voice and a body through the presence of the other. With dark humour, carefully crafted self-criticism and confessions that may or may not be true, they create a world where recognisable situations and elusive dream-like images gradually bleed into one another.
