A seemingly loving relationship that slowly tilts: In Yes-Girl, Gavin-Viano combines music, dance and performance into a raw, poetic theater experience about love, misogyny and femicide in the Netherlands.

How can a youthful romance spiral so far out of control? Yes-Girl shows how widespread misogyny seeps into an individual relationship between a young woman (Morena Stuger), who wants to spread her wings, and a man (Gavin-Viano) whose growing insecurity manifests itself in possessive behavior.

Yes-Girl is a fairy tale, a nightmare and an indictment all at once. About the search for love and self-development, about intuition that is ignored and unequal gender dynamics. About disconnecting from your surroundings and the importance of self-worth. And about what happens when it is slowly eroded.
