Five years after the original URLAUB, URLAND revises this Italo-Disco-recreation-horror and comes to the realization that it’s gotten worse: URLAUB Revisited. How can we let go, if there is nothing left to hold on to?

Welcome to the age of the mental pandemic, omnipresent pressure, increasing insecurities and even MORE burnouts (missed it? Impossible!). The exhausted society is over-stimulated and hyperactive. The homo economicus markets himself and quietly weeps bitter Prozac tears. We work under voluntary compulsion and relax in compulsive freedom. Mindfulness becomes restlessness.

Too much truth, too much untruth, too many expectations, too much data, too much access, too many friends….

TRANQUILO. WE NEED TO TAKE A BREAK. SEDATE US. WE NEED VACATION FROM VACATION.

URLAND disconnects and sets out to look for the meaning of Nothingness.
