But is Hamlet still the crown jewel of human creativity? Or is AI slowly taking over the baton, now that machines are entering the realm of creativity as well? Just as Hamlet once stood at the threshold between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, we now stand at the threshold of a digital era.
For the first time, De Warme Winkel crosses swords with the repertoire theatre. Previously, we intertwined contemporary questions with iconic works like Stravinsky’s Sacre du Printemps or Pina Bausch’s Café Müller. Now, it is time to take on Shakespeare’s holy grail: Hamlet.
