ABSOLUUT. takes you to the most feared, avoided, and yet indispensable place at every festival: the DIXI. The DIXI will be set up in the garden of Zaal 3, and this performance will take place outdoors, in the garden of Zaal 3.

At first glance, just a boring plastic box – but the porta-potty is no ordinary place. It’s a temporary haven where people can retreat. People poop, text, change clothes, cry, laugh, conceive, and ponder.

In DIXI. we follow five friends at a festival. After a hurried trip to the toilet, they are suddenly only four. Their friend is gone. Not “just lost,” as always happens, but really gone. Vanished. As if the porta-potty has swallowed him whole.

As the group navigates the pumping, sweating, flashing crowd of the festival, the missing friend sinks into the brutal, blue world beneath the porta-potties. Forced to adapt to this new world, he faces an impossible choice: cling to what he knows, or leave everything he loves behind forever.

Deze voorstelling speelt buiten in de tuin van Zaal 3. Als publiek zit je dus buiten, maar wél onder een overkapping. 

Aanstekelijke voorstelling, waar het plezier van afspat en die je vrolijk en licht verdwaasd verlaat.

The Arnhem-based company ABSOLUUT. creates site-specific spectacle theatre that is young, fresh, and highly visual; it has the pace of a TikTok feed, the randomness of a shuffled playlist, the unpredictability of a blind date, and the humor of a Tom and Jerry scene. Their performances are raw and bombastic; with special effects, self-built sets, stunts, loud music, and a highly physical style, they make experiencing their work intense and transcend the everyday.
